Hi,

I have now taken delivery of my shinny new RS6 AV package (with RS1 rears as I can't wall mount the FX rears) and Onkyo 875 Receiver. After much reading I have come to conclusion these should be run in to get the best from them (as well as the cables).

Can anyone tell me the best and quickest way to achieve this?

Excuse the ignorance please; just showing newbie credentials

Thanks very much.

I asked a similar question on another forum a while ago. The best advice I got was not to worry too much about it and just to use all the equipment and enjoy it as it gets better over time. A google search will probably throw up some more specialist ways of speeding the whole thing up.

I would sugest using Your new system as much as possible with a varied mixture of Movies and Music (played through all speakers) at a reasonible volume to give Your new system a nice mixture of sounds to bed itself in.

My Yamaha and KEF set up sounded better after say about 200 hours usage offering a much more open and clean sound.
