Rotel RA1062 Faulty for a week...

I have an Ra1062(the sound is superb) for a week, now i've got the problem with this amp. When i turn up the power and play a CD, i hear no sound(protect or something?) for 5 to 6 times, From beginning turning up the power from stand by and no sound heard..when i turn off from main and turning on then the amp work again, just make me mad..and to day my amp stop working..Everything is correct..polarity & terminals of speaker cables,I/C,source selector, connect properly. when no sound heard it i go to main button of the amp and turn it off then turn it on again then the amp work again, The amp occationally protect ,sometimes work and sometimes no sound. I contact the dealer and can replacement with the new one but i'm afraid have the same trouble a gain..want to trade with RA1520 but in some review say the amp is prety hars..anyone have experiences like this?

I would suggest you get the faulty RA-1062 replaced for another one. I've also found the RA-1520 presentation to be far too upfront whereas the RA-1062 is far more musical and one which can be listened to for hours without fatigue. The RA-1062 is a superb amplifier and one which i feel is finest overall amp Rotel have produced in the last decade.

Btw, as an alternatively also have a look at amps from Naim such as the Nait 5i or budget permitting the Nait XS.
