Rotel power amp,protection mode

My 1050 rotel that runs the left front speaker keeps going into protection mode every 5,10 minutes

have noticed it with sky and ps3

it goes into protection for 1-2 secounds then goes back to power,I've checked all the speaker wires and there is no lose strands as I'm using bananas.

i will swap it out for one of the others at some point to see if its that power amp or the pre amp channel but I thought I would see if any body has any ideas.

Swapped the Chanel's over so the left and right speaker were running of different outputs from the processor to see if it was a problem with the left channels output effecting the power amp but the same power amp running the right side still had the same problem .
Will swap the cables out tomorrow just in case the insulation has broken down which I doubt so it looks like the power amp is on its way out.

Great amp- I would recommend getting it serviced. It could be a PSU issue, maybe a simple component issue such as a blown resistor or capacitor.

Rotel's UK customer services are very helpful with this sort of thing, they've helped me out with spares in the past.

Nice one,will give them a call Monday,didn't even think for a second about getting it looked at,last couple of electrical things that broke (tvs) it's been a matter of getting rid of them due to the cost of repair.
Will update on Monday after speaking to them.
Might be worth getting my rel sub looked at to as that was making very strange noises last time I had it hooked up
