I was half watching BBC's Escape To The Country today, when I happened to notice some room treatment (?) in a distinctly non audiophile room.

I normally expect to see this sort of thing in rooms used by the likes of John Darko . So I was both amused and intrigued in equal parts and wondered if this audiophile chic is on the verge of becoming mainstream?

Got my old teddy sitting on a cabinet and the Missus has her rabbit on a shelf. All I need is the horsey and my room treatment is done!

Dunno why people turn their noses up at daytime tv, I mean who new soft toys could be used to for room treatment 😂

It not sound absorbing material you can buy this stuff as an aesthetic choice, it's all the rage at this moment in time. its expensive stuff though, hence why its only behind there TV. The companies claim no sound absorbancy its purly decrotive.

Companies that Darko use take this aesthetic and add there magic. The products are not alike

TBH I just thought Darko's wood panels were just for aesthetics only and had no bearing on the room, oh well you live and learn😂

My Mrs keeps her rabbit in her bedside drawer, but I suppose a shelf is easier to access.
