Room correction- mainly analogue setup

I wouldn't use it in the analogue chain. For room correction the signal is digitised so you loose all the benefits of analogue.

Yes. Linn’s approach to digitise all inputs, including phono stage, is controversial to some. However, they are adamant that sound quality is maintained and even maximised, especially if you use their active approach which keeps the signal digital until near the end of the chain (speakers).

Must admit that on paper, this approach looks like it’s going to sound very ….. digital…. but I’ve heard one or two Linn systems and they sound remarkably good /easy on the ear.
