Saw a child on a bike that had no electrical assistance the other day. He was actually having to pedal - what's the world coming to?!

Went to a friend's last night as her son's partner is seriously ill, as she'd just found out his kidney's may well fail this weekend. Our reward was an Uber driver who turned up at the wrong address, wouldn't answer his phone and charged us for having to walk home. Useless (insert profanity of your own choice).

I don't understand how that could happen.
(I have used Uber once, but it wasn't me that booked or paid).

Reading through the news this morning I was presented with an opportunity to read the winner predictions - which I declined.
I struggled, but failed, to think of anything less interesting or relevant to me.

Basically, it's almost impossible to cancel if the driver says he's arrived.

Reading through the news this morning I was presented with an opportunity to read the winner predictions - which I declined.
I struggled, but failed, to think of anything less interesting or relevant to me.

Haven´t paid any attention to it or followed for years. And like me, apparently millions more as Hollywood as come close to a stand still.
No tears from me.

I hope that will revive the english/british cinema production, always been a great fan (and I´m not english or british).

Miraculously, there is not. It usually prompts you after a ride, but when they **** up that doesn't happen. Crap, really.

Uber had charged my account for a non-existent trip, numerous times. I made sure I cancelled Uber account direct debit facility. I can't recall if I was refunded. in full

Uber claimed somebody used my profile fraudulently for free taxi rides, I'm not sure, I think they're just a dodgy American outfit, masquarading as an honest cabby service.

If Waymo have their way, UK citizens will be able to jump into a driverless taxi 6 months from now.
