Room 101

I want to put Lenovo in room101. A few years ago I bought a Motorola phone everything seemed to work fine, then i bought a car that works with android auto and that's when I noticed issues with my phone. Followed all the advice on the forums from actual Lenovo staff members like putting g the phone in USB debugging mode and still android auto was hit and miss at best. Last year I noticed the camera app frequently crashed the phone. I went back onto the forums and again staff members gave some suggestions. The final step, as I suspected an issue with the last android update I got, was to download lenovo rescue software to my pc, plug in my phone and repair/reinstall android.
Well my Motorola phone is now bricked. The software wiped android but has failed at the flash boot install 5 times. Lenovo's solution? Send it to us for repair at a cost, even though it's their software that bricked my phone.
Any way last weekend I bought a cheap Samsung phone (A17 £170) from argos. Android Auto works perfectly, straight out of the box, no messing with USB debugging or anything like that.

I had a Motorola a few years ago and it was always flaky, and coincidentally ended up buying the same Samsung as you when its predecessor stopped charging. Might be cheap, but it does everything I can conceive of needing.

Another issue I had with the Motorola is the scanner app we use at work for one of the couriers that collect from us. The Motorola always took ages to scan the qr codes on the delivery labels. Even my 8 year old honor phone with smashed screen and cracked camera lens cover can scan better than the Motorola. I've downloaded the scanner app to the Samsung A17 and it scans so fast I can't keep up😂.
So yeah Motorola are definitely off my list for any future phones.

I did add the following to my above post but the system kept telling me it was unacceptable?

My wish for Room 101 at the moment is the BBC for breaking into the main 10 o'clock news to advertise their own News Night which follows anyway. I do confess to commenting out loud where they might insert their advert, even though I am aware they can't hear me!

I may or may not have shouted at the TV once or twice and got a shake of the head from Rachel. I refuse to either confirm or deny this.

I've picked up what my dad used to say to my step mum, when questions like "have you opened this packet of biscuits?" were uttered.
My dad's response "I refuse to answer that question on the grounds it may incriminate me"😂
