The two photographs, first one taken with my daughter's own phone after she'd got the autograph and the second one, the professional photo done a few hours later in the photo booth.

No Star Wars the Acolyte. My daughter loved the series and his character but it got a lot of hate and cancelled after one series. My daughter has just reminded me that she also paid another £3 for a certificate of authentication for the autograph but forgot to ask for it at the time as she was so nervous and excited about meeting him. She paid for everything online before the event.

No sorry I should have twigged very slow on the up take🤦‍♂️It's my daughter's light sabre by the way. Her brother bought it for her as a present two weeks ago. It is modelled after the one he uses. Annoyingly it was broken so it wouldn't switch on for the photo. Thankfully the company it was bought from have a stall at the comic con and repaired it for her later. These are the expensive ones with the blade made from the same material as riot shields. I couldn't believe the number of different designs they sold, all based on light sabres that have been in the films and TV shows.

I should lock myself in room 101 - I think there's something wrong with me.
It seems that every time someone posts a picture of their hi-fi - there's not a carpet in sight.
Those horrible bare-floored rooms....
It has a serious effect on me.

I can only assume they've got no idea how it affects sound - or worse - they think the modern look (or partners' dictation) justifies the compromise.

The biggest detriment to sound quality, is the wife!

Those 21st century car designers, that seem to have forgotten that it's actually rather useful, to be able to see where you are going when reversing, without having to rely on a rear-view camera, if one is actually fitted. Our 2013 Citroën DS3, that we traded-in a few months ago, had hopeless rear vision.

Guilty as charged on this one.

I did have a massively thick high-shag (is that what it's called?) rug, but when winter comes my dogs turn the house into a mudbath.

I could have a rug for 6-months every year then have to bin it, or I could just just live without it, so chose the latter. Admittedly, it does sound much better with a rug, but a rug can't be mopped and steamcleaned which my floor can.

Two muddy pooches sprinting around the garden after they've already turned it into a pig-wallow is messy for floors when they run back into the house!!

It's a compromise as ideally I'd like a rug year-round (but then if we're going there I'd like a dedicated room for my system which is in the family living room).

I guess we all have to make them to fit around our lives.

Back from hols today... Currently spinning some records and it still sounds amazing, even rugless as-is.

Music pumping, rest of week off work, it sounds totally wicked. Life is good 👍

My back, it seems. Something went wrong whilst I was doing my weights, and I can barely move. I can't swear here, but I'm thinking what Unlucky Alf from The Fast Show used to say...

111 not much use, 999 suggesting I call my GP even though I can't move. Gee, thanks...

And apparently the NHS won't send an ambulance for non life-threatening cases, but I cannot stand up. There's no way I can get into my wife's car. I'm so glad I pay all that tax.

I totally sympathise.
I no longer call my GP for an appointment, the system is broken.

Our government priorities are with the globalist not the interests of it's own people. Apologies for the political rant!

It certainly is putting great pressure on our NHS.

My nephew recently qualified as a doctor, he can't get the two years mandatory work in NHS hospitals because there's a long waiting list.
His friend in Belgium who qualified the same time as him, is already practicing in his own country.
Something is crazy wrong here?

The effects of 14 years of the Tories running down NHS funding, cannot be corrected in 1 year.

Without the necessary work experience, the NHS won't grant him his practitioners licence. I suspect there are many young doctors like my nephew waiting in the queue.

His friend in Belgium who qualified the same time as him, is already practicing in his own country.
