With so many people now, having more money than they know what to do with, there are going to be people/businesses ready to exploit them…You can buy air from Lake Como for €11. I quote:
Take a piece of Lake Como with you, a luxurious souvenir, perfect for those who wish to rediscover the peace and elegance of this heavenly corner, sealed in a tin.
Open it whenever you need a moment of escape, tranquility, or simply beauty.
Escape from sanity, possibly...

One born every minute etc.
Totally agree. They seem to flick some people's switches though.BTW2, I have NOT watched any of the above videos, in fact I never watch any unboxing videos, they are among the most pointless rubbish on YouTube etc.
Watching unboxing videos is as boring as watching paint dry.Totally agree. They seem to flick some people's switches though.
Call centres. Just spend three quarters of an hour on hold (repeatedly being told they'd be with me ASAP) by the Teachers' Pensions Agency. At which point, my landline battery started beeping, and placing it back on the charger ends the call.
Still got the hold music as a horrible earworm!
I can't register to use the site alas - it's about my late father.I always use online chat when possible, saves wasting time sitting on hold, plus you get a transcript of the conversation.
Yeah, it's real BS, being kept on hold for what feels like an eternity.Call centres. Landlines like that don't charge unless back on the cradle.....Yeah, it's real BS, being kept on hold for what feels like an eternity.
If you have a plug in charger, you can plug your phone in mid-call, and it won't knock you off.
I guess you know that though, yeah?
I haven't used landline for yonks. The one's I have at home have been switched to internet telephony.Landlines like that don't charge unless back on the cradle.....
Mine only went out last year when cable to the door eventually arrived in our road.....I haven't used landline for yonks. The one's I have at home have been switched to internet telephony.
Of course, I was thinking cell phone. (Slaps forehead!)Landlines like that don't charge unless back on the cradle.....
No problem.Of course, I was thinking cell phone. (Slaps forehead!)
I agree but, on the other hand, the whole thing seems a whole lot of fun, for those that like it.The Eurovision Song Contest....again.
The Geopolitical Woke Circus is coming to your local TV Network, be sure to switch off.The Eurovision Song Contest....again.
Please no more bearded Fat Ladies dressed up in winged faery costumes, please! Ha ha haI agree but, on the other hand, the whole thing seems a whole lot of fun, for those that like it.
That's certainly true and always has been....the whole thing seems a whole lot of fun, for those that like it.
That's certainly true and always has been.
It's never been meant to be taken too seriously of course.
But politics and wokeness have taken it to new levels of patheticness.
I thought Russia had been excluded 🤔On a more sombre note, how can they allow the nation whom I'm not allowed to criticise, entry into the competition?
I don't condone any violence in the world or have preference over ethnicity, religion or culture but this doesn't sit well with me. 🤔
Thanks Gray, my little rant is over and my lips are zipped, I want to P on the fire, not ignite it 🙂I thought Russia had been excluded 🤔
Maybe the EBU organisers would justify the inclusion by saying they're attempting to keep politics out of it - but the majority of people would surely have your attitude, that they should be excluded.
In the interest of balance though, I will point out that a forum member here once said that the UK 'backed the wrong side' by supporting Ukraine 🤨
