The MA Bronze B2 are currently the front channels in my AV setup, driven by a Sony STR-DA1200ES.

I'd like to add a stereo amp for CD playback. My budget is £350, which would get me a used Roksan Kandy KA1 MkIII off ebay. I've read good reviews about this amp. Do you think it is a good match fro the B2 or could they sound a bit bright together? If so, what amp would you recommend for the B2, considering my budget?

The source is a Sony BDP-S350 but I may invest in a CD player or DAC after sorting the amp. Thanks.

I'd be looking more in the direction of the NAD C355BEE or one of its predecessors. Alternatively look at Arcam - that sort of money would buy an A85 which Big Chris and JoelSim both rated very highly.

Thanks. The Arcam's reputation is indeed of a more laid back sound. It's an interesting option and I believe it comes with an AV bypass mode too. Do you know thw nominal power output of the A85?
