Rock Jaw Alfa Genus V2 vs Sony MDR-EX650AP

I am looking to buy a new set of IEM's for when I travel and commute. They need to be comfortable and have a good bass signature for a lot of rock music. I had spotted the 2 models mentioned in the title and can't decide between them as they both get great reviews and are roughly at the same price point. Any views as to which I should go for? Comfort is also a big factor for me. Thank you.

If you can't demo at a store then buy both and exercise your statutory rights to send the pair back you don't like. Beyond separating the wheat from the chaff, no one's ever going to be able to tell you which pair sound best to your ears. It's like trying to buy a really good pair of running shoes, others' advice might narrow-down the list to 5-6 pairs in-budget but no one but you has your feet.

I get that - obviously. However what I was after was any qualitative accounts of not only sound quality but build/reliability etc.

As it stands I have pushed the boat out and ordered a set of Flare Audio R2S.
