I am really looking forward for this one coming out, I really liked the last one with Kevin Costner, anyone heard much about it? Do you think it will be better than the last one?

Thank's.

Check out the trailers online - it looks great to me! Ridley Scott doesn't make bad films (I even enjoyed 'A Good Year') so I'm looking forward to it.

Don't think it'll be anything like the Kevin Coster one. It looks darker and more serious...

A serious Robin Hood film, now where's the fun in that? When was there ever a serious Robin Hood film?

I'm really annoyed by these films. Robin Hood was, unless I've mis-remembered my history, an English hero. So far he's been played in films by an Australian, a Yank and now, to pile insult upon insult, a Kiwi!

Surely there are English actors who could play the part? I mean, what about Hugh Grant? Now there's a potential swashbuckler if ever I saw one.

Ridley scott doesn't make bad films??? Hannibal, anyone??? Gladiator falls apart in the final act and becomes competely implausible and vomit inducingly sentimental. Scott hasn't made a great film since Blade Runner!

Still, Crowe will probably make a better fist of the English accent than Costner (who, of course, attended the Sean Connery School of Accent Training -- i.e. go with your native accent regardless of who you're playing, be it an American, Russian, Irishman).

They also all portray King Richard as being able to speak English and Costner walked from Dover to Hadrians wall in a day. Accurate they ain't

Andrew Everard:No, Cate Blanchett as Marion

Thank's i have done some internet searches, she does have a Marion type look to her can't seem to picture her to many movies.

While doing my searches i learnt Russell Crowe spent all of his time in the pub in between takes.
