ripping dvds

i have now about down my 260 cds albums and 50 singles using eac and are am very happy,

now i only have a 10 music dvds but they are getting very cheap and my mrs's brother has over 100 so i want to know if there is a free software like eac for dvds, and what would you play them back through software wise to get good sq out.

DVD Copying software isn't illegal per say. Using it to copy dvd's you don't own is!

I think you will find it is! You don't own the content on the DVD, therefore, you are bound by copyright laws which state that you are not allowed to make any copy of said content, whether for your own use or otherwise.
