There are much better shops than Richer Sounds believe me. Not saying they aren't any good as I shop there some times and would be the first to suggest them. They only really cater for mid range kit though. Audio T and Seven Oaks should be just as good a shopping experience and maybe even better. Unless you've had a bad run in with one of them in the past.

Thank you so much for help.

I have heard about Sevenoaks, but to-date I have not considered buying from them. Will pay a visit next time Im passing.

What features make the 477 inferior to the 675 please

Im not happy is ording via the net or phone for home delivery. Its mainly due to the lack of packaging. RS post the item as you would buy in store,no extra padding/box to protect the item in transit

Thank you

1) 675 has better amplification per channel.

2) It also has dialogue lift and dialogue level adjustment for better vocal clarity.

3) You can assign a second zone for a couple of speakers in another room.

You should demo both receivers to appreciate the difference. Given that they both cost the same (as 675 is an older model), I would go for 675 without a doubt.

Thank you for the reply. I will probably buy the 675,but will ask if its possible to see a demo of them both.

Many thanks
