I'm at home so I just plug it into the charger. A question: does your phone support the LDAC bluetooth codec? If it is more than three years old, the answer is probably no.

No, had the phone 5-6 years.

It doesn't help the amp is all analogue connectivity.

No I'm asking because if you were to use a bluetooth receiver like the Zen One signature, LDAC is the bluetooth codec which gives the best sound quality. It does make a difference.
