Replacing Woofer in MJ Acoustics Pro 50 (mk1)

Hey all,

As the title sugests I want to replace the subwoofer in my active sub, and wanted to know (as stupidly I forgot to do this) was what cable (red/black) goes from the sub to the main amp board connectors, if you take the sub out... I took the sub out saying to myself I will remember which went where, then forgot, doh. Would be much help!

Aren't the terminals on the driver marked with a positive(+) and negative(-) ?

On the woofer yes, but not on the mainboard (amp) connectors, well not that I can see.

what woofer did you choose to replace it with and what was the cost ? I have a velodyne va 8100xe and need to replace the 8" woofer and not sure what to go with ?

You can always contact the manufacturer - I'm pretty sure they can help you out with this, and shouldn't be too expensive, even if you need to return it to them directly?
