Replacing Stock Pre-out Jumpers

Anybody experimented with replacing the stainless steel jumpers connecting pre-out with main-in on your integrated amplifier?

I've heard the improvements on many stereo and AV amps when getting rid of these nasty linking bars and replacing them with even a half decent interconnect - the differences aren't small. Use the shortest length interconnect possible too.

when i replaced mine on the Nad with Tara Labs missing links i noticed a change.

Thick guage mains copper worked a treat on my old 3020a... much better than the steel.

replaced the jumpers on a NADC352 with Russ Andrews jumpers made with Kimber cable, massive improvement. well worth it.

Many cable companies actually do custom lengths - all you need to do is ask your dealer or contact the manufacturer directly.

the russ andrews are about the best, made using kimber cable. well put together and scrape in just under £40.00....
