remote chance?

Ive just bought a cyrus 8 amp of e-bay and will be adding the cyrus 8x cd player in a few weeks, the amp hasnt got a remote control, will the volume control on the cd remote work with the slightly older amp?

I would think it will work.

I have a cyrus amp and arcan cd player - they both can be controlled by either remote. They both have Phillips remote electronics inside.

So the older kit should be ok with the new remote.

Yes, they can all plug together using the MC Bus connections on the rear for remote control.
