Rega DAC run in

Well I demoed the Brio R and DAC last week and it blew me away, I left the shop with just the amp, but went back today and got the DAC too, however it new out of the box and heard they take a bit of running in.

If I left my cd player on repeat overnight would this, in effect, speed the process up?

Its sounding a touch bright at the minute but heard this goes away in time.

I think your hearing will adjust rather than any running in. If you think about it a Dac has the least moving parts of any component. Rather than have the CDP on repeat I'd just leave the dac on for a day or so. The dac needs to get fully warmed up.
