Rega Brio R too laid back

I hearded the Brio-R with B&W 685 with the same results ...

KEF are warmish sounding, so Rega is not a good pair. I drove Klipsch RF-62 II with Rega Brio 3 and it was the best combo I ever had. Detailed, dynamic, smooth, engaging, and exciting. I listen to Nicki Minaj using this combo and really got deep tuneful bass out of them. More forward than laidback if I recall. Maybe the Brio-R is more laidback than the old Brio 3.
