Rega acos turntable

I have an original Rega acos turntable with a lustre tone arm but with a glass plater not the original tripod type.

I'm thinking of changing it to a newer version and am wondering its value. There are none on ebay for me to compare it to.

They do not come up very often but one of the main selling points of the Planet would be its platter. How someone has managed to fit a glass platter to it is hard to see. Could it be an early Planar and not a Planet? These had glass platters. Does it actually say Planet on it anywhere?

As the old saying goes it's worth as much as someone is prepared to pay for it. ;-)

I have seen one with the plastic sub platter and glass platter from a Planar 2 added but believe this was a custom job.
