Reduction in Sky Sports package

Hi,

I thought I would give everyone a heads up on this one. I just called to cancel Sky Sports for three months as it's the end of the football season, but they offered me a deal where they reduce my package by £15 for the next 3 months!

There's no guarantee they'll do that for everybody, in fact the more people do it the quicker they'll stop offering the deal and let people cancel.

Good point well made. They did review my package before making the offer I might add. However, if you are looking to save a few quid over the close season, it's worth a try.

It's common practice once the football is over. Better to offer the customer a reduced rate, rather than letting them cancel and the possibilty of them not renewing their sports subs once the season starts again.

The_Lhc is right though, theres no guarantess that because you were offered it, everyone will. Sky's CS agents are limited to the amount of deals they can offer each month, so it's luck of the draw if you get through to an agent who's got deals left to offer.
