Recommendations on cheap Hi-Fi system

Alright, this is all so new to me 😅

what are the pros/cons of active speakers? Do they produce different sounds or is the way they’re powered the only difference?
They were quite expensive though.

Question regarding the Vena, can i Stream Spotify or Tidal through it or is it only local files?

Of course, you can stream a lot of stuff to the Vena, it's a full blown streamer.

The main advantage of actives is that the amplifiers are matched specifically to the drivers. Yes, their sound varies, but you'll never wonder "is this amplifier appropriate for these speakers?". So you kinda take one unknown out of the equation, the other one being the matching of the source to the speakers. If you are too conflicted, just get whatever's cheapest and leave it at that - unless you think that in less then a year you'll start to think about upgrading this bit or that one )
