Recommendation for Mordaunt Short Avanio

Hi all,

Has anyone tried the Sony DA5500ES receiver with MS Aviano?

Is this a good match? What other receiver would you recommend?

Yamaha and Denon amps work well with Mordaunt short speakers. MS speakers can tend to be on the bright side tonally and work well with the warmer sound of the Denon Yamaha amps.

That is a general 'rule' as we all hear things differently and prefer different sounds.

Looking at the prices of the Sony 5500 on google, you'd be looking at the Yamaha Z7 and Denon 4310.

However, with those amps, I would have thought you'd be looking at speaker ranges above the Avianos price level.
