Reciever upgrade for both music and movies?!?!

Ok, after months of stress deciding whether to buy a seperate amp for my music I've decided to just upgrade my reciever in hope that if i get a decent enough reciever the sound quality for my music won't suffer to badly although i do appreciate It won't be the same quality as a dedicated stereo amp.

The recievers I've been lookin at are Yamaha's RX V1900 and Denon's AVR-2310!!

Or would it be worth just going all out on Sony's STR- DA5400ES ?!?! Would this make a dramatic enough difference on the quality of the music produced to justify the £500-£600 price difference

The speakers I'm using at the minute are KEF IQ5SE but i would upgrade these if needed.

Any help would be appreciated

Recently i've upgraded my av amp to Marantz Sr 6003. The sound is superb, both for music and movies.I've tried the Denon 2310, for me, the Marantz is better. and it is even better when i use it for cd playback. yep, this is just my opinion..
