i thought it may be useful to have a thread where we can name some good movies that we have seen, recent releases..

a few ive seen recently and enjoyed..

bad lieutenant, the new one with nicholas cage, very good imo..

the lovely bones, also very good, if not a little weird and quite disturbing..

"A single man" with Colin Firth. Directed by Tom Ford (fashion designer!!) Really good movie - looks great on blu ray

Last couple of days i have watched Lebanon (subtitled) amazingly deep film. picture very god and sound awesome.

City of God (subtitled) sound from street gun fights was crazy!! Both on DVD.

King kong BD picture very sharp and as you can imagine the sound is definately demo material.

Have beenplaying BD's lately using the re-encode feature of my LG and i actually prefer it over the Analogue HD sound.
