Receiver for my MT-30

I currently have a Harman AVR 260 for my B&W MT-30 setup. I'd like to see how I could go about improving the performance as it's just a little lacking in action movies. Would an upgrade to a Yamaha RX-V2067 help achieve this?

Also well worth considering the Denon 2310 or 2311; the latter if you are interested in 3D.
