I currently have a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB and have recently purchased the sub-platter and bearing upgrade for it from Acoustand Audio (link below). I'm thinking of getting the very well regarded AT-VM95ML or the AT-VM95SH and possibly Moon Audio 110 LP V2 phono stage.

I think the carts are probably okay, but is that phono stage a bit overkill for my kit and if it's not overkill, would you opt for a different cart and phono stage?

Thanks in advance.

Rest of the kit at current moment until I can get floorstanders again is Audiolab 8000A using in-built phonostage and Mission 751 standmounts.

What's wrong with the phono stage in the 8000A?
Regards the Moon I switched off when I read "Designed to be powered up at all times for optimal performance"
