REALLY long iphone 5 cable?

Hey I have my speakers and DAC on my desk but frequently want to listen to music in bed. I've bought a QED bluetooth receiver thingy but the sound quality is absolutely awful. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a decent long iphone cable which I can feed around the corners of m room to my bed, thus having a wired connection. The cable would need to be about 5 metres long!

I have found various cables on the internet, but all of them seem to have terrible reviews (1 out of 5 stars) with almost all reviews saying they either didn't work or broke after a few weeks.

This surprises me, tbh. Have you tried an Airport Express? Have you tried it with a short cable already and are convinced that sounds better?

No I haven't tried the Airplay device. I'm currently playing music from Spotify Premium account. Yes, wired connection sounds much better with these 320 mp3 files.

I would recommend you try AirPort Express first. 5m long cable is a hazard for tripping over and either injuring yourself or damaging your equipment. Wireless should sound equally good.

EDIT: Just saw you're planning to align the cable to the wall. I would still recommend wireless instead.

is the qed apt-x enabled? if it is, to take advantage of that an ithing needs an apt-x dongle as they do not suport apt-x natively.
