RCA Interconnect for Squeezebox Receiver and Cambridge Audio 540a v.2amp

I am using the DAC on my SB receiver and would like to upgrade the freebie rca cable. Can anyone recommend a decent interconnect for this set up? I also have a cambridge audio 640c v.2 connected to the amp and for this connection I use a QED qunex1.

I could use this cable for the SB receiver and get a new cable for the CDP if that would prove beneficial, that's another alternative!

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I use MarkGrant interconnects but I've just checked his site and he's sold out but I know what bluejeanscables.co.uk use the same components (Belden LV61S) I can highly recommend them. LINK

I have the same setup like yours, but i have the 640A V2. Got my SB Classic recently and till two days back thought the freebie RCA was good, but I wasn't happy with the vocals, somewhat veiled, but there was good bass. So, two days back removed the IC's between my cdp and amp, QED Qunex-1, and connected them beween my SB and 640A. Wow! am happy to say the SQ has jumped hugely. The QED brought in lots and lots of detail, amazing soundstage, stunning bass, which were veiled by the cheap RCA of SB. SKY.fm at 96k stream sounds almost like CD, just cant believe how an IC would bring so much life to a sound.

Now, am planning on getting an SHB Metaphor or Atlas Equator MKII IC for my cdp and amp. Just go ahead and interchange the IC's of SB and see the difference.
