its the greastest hits and in stereo (label is chess so there is mono classics out there but it really is stunning you made to feel like you are sitting at a table with people all around you and hes up there doing hes stuff. its a double lp and there is a couple going on ebay for less that £10.

if people know him and know stuff that sounds almost the same can you please post them please

I have the in crowd, trio recorded at live bohemien caverns in washington and yes i am in the room, not literally but it sure does feel like it, chess is a great label real quality vinyl, check out charlie parker as well, sort of progessive mellow.

will do thanks gregory, is there a main charlie parker vinyl to get or will any do to start me off

jazz at massey hall is a good place to start with some other fine musicians too, migus, gillespie, max roach, Parker is named as chan for some reason, cant remember why but finding these albums in mint condition will be hard and expensive, i buy what i can find get them cleaned and hope for the best, good luck in your search, as a side note Keith Jarret on the ECM label is mighty fine as well.

I have that too and agree is superb sounding and the variety of music is fantastic too, BUT if you think this is the best sounding vinyl then boy have you got some fun ahead.

Check out

Dave Brubeck - Time Out - Classic Records 33rpm or 45rpm

Muddy Waters - Folk Singer - Mobile Fidelity or Classic Records pressing,

listen to these two and report back!

as soon as pay day start of month i will pick a few vinyl up of amazon or ebay so ill note them and see if i can grab a deal. many thanks

There is something very special about finding a great sounding LP that isn't a special release of any sort.
