Racks in What Hi Fi test room

Just wondering what racks you are using in the Home Cinema demo room. I am particularly intrested because I have a Classe CA5200 power amp which is on a pretty sturdy home made rack at the moment. Wondering which rack can take its 55kgs!! Also you appear to have six or seven stages to your rack - is it still stable as the shelves simply appear to be resting on one another?

Presumably you have a CA5200 and CA2200 in you set up as Classe don't make a 7200. Thinking of going for a 2200 myself to complete the set up for seven channels - the number of BDs using seven channels appear to be few and far between at the moment, hopefully this will improve.

We use Atacama Equinox in the Cinema room. It's a modular design, so can be as extensive as required, and it's rated (I believe, off the top of my head) at 70kg per shelf. Ample, in other words. It's super-stable and sounds good, too.

Thanks for the quick reply Simon. Are you using the three legged hi-fi series or the four legged av series?

Four-legged for AV. Three-legged for hi-fi applications (where the weight and bulk is generally less).
