Which DAC would you use with the Rotel RA-1520 on a pair of neutral speakers?

rDac is a cheap alternative, but a bit boring soundwise?

Rega?

Hi jakja83

Rega's superb DAC will provide a quality signal and importantly should also be a far better tonal match to help keep in check the forward/upfront presentation of the RA-1520.

Btw, what speakers will you be using please?

All the best

Thank you for your help, actually I will use it with PSB T6 floorstanders and I think I will use a Nuforce HDP with them, in that way I get a headphoneamp as well.

If by 'boring' you mean detailed and natural, then yes, the rdac is very boring - and I'm loving it.
