Miriam Margolyes gave a heartfelt tribute on the Today programme this morning on radio 4.

.....then went on to give Justin and Martha another heartfelt comment 😆
(If you haven't heard it, it's still available on BBC Sounds, she's on just prior to the 8.30 sports news. They could have easily edited the recording - but to their credit they haven't).

I can believe it. There was an awful lot of talent that came through at around the same time: Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Rik Mayall, Rowen Atkinson and so on and so forth.

Robbie was also very good in the two Bond films. Very versatile actor.

RIP Robbie, Incredibly good actor and comedian too. I remember he did a joke on Hogmanay in Glasgow in 1989 that went across the bells and he's probably one of a very few people to have told a joke spanning two decades!
