Quick Sonos question?

Is it possible to play the same track in sync on multiple Sonos players in different rooms at the same time? Or will there always be slight (but sufficiently annoying) timing differences between players?

Hope that makes sense!! :~ Cheers.

Never noticed a timing difference. Have one in the kitchen and one in the dining room - and as I wander between the 2 don't notice any timing differences (and it is a small house - so never out of sound range)

That's kind of the raison d'etre of Sonos. The only time you'll get a delay is if you're sending a line-in source from one ZP to others, which is down to the A-D-C delay or with newer AV receivers you can get a slight delay if you use a digital input. I don't get that on my old receiver but I've seen a few people complaining with late-model receivers.

Otherwise it'll be perfectly in sync, so much so that you can now use two S5s as a stereo left-right pair, so accurately are they synced.
