I intend to set up a simple multi - room system using my excellent Cambridge Audio 651 A.

The amplifier can run two sets of speakers.

The first set is the Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 which rates at 6 Ohms & 86 sensitivity.

The second set are 8 ohms but 84 sensitivity.

I think the Cambridge is 75 watts into 8 ohms.

My question is this. I do not intend to run both sets of speakers at the same time due to their location. However, if they should be playing at the same time would it damage the amp or speakers? Or would it not matter for small amounts of time?

Cheers
