Question regarding What HiFi receiver reviews

Hi, I have noticed that in most of the latest reviews of AV receivers there is no section or even comments about musical performance. Ex. Marantz SR5014. Is this just a coincidence or is this a change in the approach for AV reviews to focus more on movie performance? Thanks.

Most buyers tend to buy purely for home theatre, and with music performance being much lower on the ‘need’ list they’re usually quite happy with what they do. Those that require high performance music tend to research that aspect a little more before buying.
