Question on the Jamo A 102 speakers

Can anyone tell me whats in the box, i know theres no speaker cable but do you get the sub link and wall brackets. If not can anyone suggest what to buy without spending to much extra. secondly what speaker wire would be worth getting?

Eremis6, IIRC, there was a sub cable and wall brackets for all speakers in the box. The wall speakers slot neatly into the back of speakers and are quite discreet. I have since got stands for my four satellites, but did use the wall brackets and they are decent, although you can only move the speakers left and right, not up and down.

Did u buy the jamo stands or a different brand as the jamos are about £80 a pair? Oh and how long is the sub cable?

i have them on the wall and they are pretty good, The Sub cable is about 10m long it seems like

@rob_981: you can mount the wall mount at 90 degrees if you want up and down swivel - which I've done for the rears as they are mounted at ceiling height, tilted down.

But wouldn't that mean the speakers will be mounted sideways?

I don't actually want to wall mount them anyway (or rather, the girlfriend doesn't want me to), but they were on the wall in my old flat, and looked pretty good, I thought!

Eremis6, I didn't get the Jamo speaker stands. I agree, too expensive (although probably very good). I got two pairs of the ELO Omnimounts which are £40 per pair in Richersounds, or nearer £20 per pair on Ebay (or they were when I got them).

I see you're thinking of the Missions now anyway, so I couldn't say for sure if you could mount them on the ELOs, but if you can, they are good stands.

Thanks again ye the mission are a possible choice, lot of money, might still buy the jamos im all over the place trying to decide need to make a decision soon before i drive everyone mad with the constant questions.

Yep, definitely been there before, so I know what it's like. I can't comment on the others, but if you were to get the Jamos, I don't think you'd be disappointed. For such small speakers, they sound excellent. And they look good too.

rob_981, when i got my pioneer 5.1 system i was blown away with the jump from stereo, im hoping that the jump from an all in one 5.1 system to proper home cinema and Hi def sound will blow me away again, you think the jamos will have the desired effect?
