Question on a cable

I have an e-mu 0204 soundcard and need to connect it with active studio monitors. The card has unbalanced outputs, the monitors - XRL+jack1/4 (balanced/unbalanced), so I need a jack 1/4 - jack 1/4 unbalanced one. But there are lots of cable types - speaker, microphone, instrumental, audio, acoustic, and most of them are too high length, while I need arout 1 meter. Some people say instrumental will be ok. Does this cable PLANET WAVES PW-CGTP-03 fits with the requirements? Can anyone suggest some good ones?

An alternative option is to use normal stereo phono interconnects and use adaptors on the ends such as

But by the looks of the cable you linked to it looks ok to me
