Whatever eartips you use its always better to remove them if stored for ages because they will all degrade.

That's not quite what I said.
The most common to break down are the memory foam type.
I haven't bothered looking at those you mention are made of and never heard of them.
Still no reason to keep them attached to find out just in case they do although silicone is pretty inert.
