After reading a few threads on this forun about speakers and amp compability, it seems that the general concensus is that the cyrus x power is far superior to the 8 power. Can someone explain why.I looked up the specs for both amps but can really see anything much of a difference?Apart from the extra 10w is there anything else m mkissing.

Also, both amps are bridgeable from stereo to mono so m wondering is by diong so(stereo to mono) does it alter the sound in any shape or form at all??

sincerely yours

There are a few products around like this. Specs tell you nothing, it's all in the listening. The X Power will come across as more authoritive, and drive certain speakers better than an 8 Power would.

Whether you need to bridge to mono will depend on the speakers you're trying to drive.
