Hello all,

Okay i was browsing the *bay (yet again) and stumbled across an olde Nad 3020 amp. But then i noticed the speaker connections. Would these require "unterminated" speaker cable on the amp end ? Here's the link -

I had a 3020e for many years - I didnt have any problems.

Some of the latest AV amps have spring clip terminals so they are still viewed as acceptable.

The cable goes into the screw-down clamp, and the pin is inserted into the spring-clip. Some versions of this plug also have a 4mm hole in the top, so can be used as adapter for standard banana plugs into the spring-clips.

I have been looking (not very well obviously) for something like this for years! Where can you get them from????
