A Andrew Everard New member May 30, 2007 1,878 2 0 Jan 19, 2009 #2 Nope. The lower the impedance, the harder the speakers are to drive. Two 4ohm speakers used in parallel will mean the amp 'sees' an impedance of 2ohms, which would be enough to trigger most protection systems.
