Can anyone recommend a source for a decent RCA splitter adaptor. Tried the Ebay ones and they are rubbish.Very filmsy and the blades on the plug end are very thin and dont grip. I want to run 2 sets of cables from my CDP that has only got 1 pair of outputs. Thanks in advance for all replies

Which ebay ones? There are some solid ones that are totally gold plated. No plastic cases or short fly leads between separate connectors. There just a T shaped metal thing. I dont know how you could do any better.

I have tried the plastic type but not seen the metal ones. I will have another look. Thanks.

Hi raym87. Did you mean something like this........

.....if so, did you have any success as I am looking at maybe connecting two sources into my amp.

Yes...thats em. They work really well and have a good grip.......1000 times better than the ebay ones.....

M'Lord....didnt get them from ebay....had the same problems as you trying to find them. Nope....Maplins is where I got mine.....

Thanks raym. I can't find the ones at Maplins! So I have gone for the ebay ones listed here , as they look more sturdy than the Amazon ones (pictured above). I also tried Russ Andrews, but he does not sell that specific type and the other splitters look the same as the ones on ebay and are the same price. So a product that even RA does not sell a bespoke version of.

Damn-n'blast it! Oh, well I paid an extra few pence, which I would need to anyway to get to Maplins or pay for the postage.

How come, you, me and his Lordship are able to find/not find the same item on the same site? I checked Maplins and there was no splitter like that I could find!

I'll save your search and if the ebay ones are rubbish then I'll go for the Maplins ones.

All of this because I can't be bothered switching between my two amps when I change from Spotify/PC music to ipod listening.

It's in the wrist action.....

Thanks for the suggestion but I want to connect two sources into the one line in on my amp. So it is a two into one like the above I need.

They arrived, they certainly split as hoped, but after an hour I noticed a background humming noise that developed into a crackling. I have tried switching round the cables, but no joy. The quality certainly looks good enough, so I have emailed the ebay seller. I suspect a trip to Maplins is next.
