Q Acoustics Concept 20 5.1 setup?

How do the Concept 20's fare as home cinema speakers? Am thinking of getting 2 pair and Bk xxl400 sub.

How do they compare to the Boston acoustics a25?

And which center goes well with the Concepts?

I'm sure you're not the only one who's considered this but halted when wondering why Q Acoustics hasn't made a dedicated centre using the same double-wall Gelcore technology.

An obvious gaping hole in their line-up. Maybe they're working on it...right now!

Their 2000ci uses the same drivers, so ought to match tonally, but will not benefit from the same inert cabinet technology, so more cabinet resonance will be getting in the way of the centre channel, which as many speaker manufacturers like to remind us, use up to 60% of some movie mixes.

Just ruunuing in a 5.1 set up based on the Concept 20 and 2000 Ci centre with 2010i rears , using a REL quake sub fed fro a Denon AVR 1912. Initial impressions are great with the 20' s integrating brilliantly. The detail from my music collection is amazing and film soundtracks have real impact
