Yes I agree £1,500 seems a lot to spend on an amp for £500 speakers. I would start off at around £500 amps and then work my way up. Try the Rega Brio R and Creek 50A, Roksan Kandy K2 then Musical Fid. M3i. then some of the £1,500 amps that have been suggested like the Rega.
