q acoustics 2010i V 2020i ..which one ?

:rockout: Need advice as to which one of these two speakers to go for. I am limited in terms of space,but dont want to compromise on sound quality.Anyone got any ideas ?

Take into account that they are quite different in size and rear-ported. If you are set on Q Acoustics, go for the 2020i if you have the space—and otherwise, the 2010i.

If you have two feet of space from your wall and an extra £100, also consider Tannoy's DC4. Terrific speaker for the money and is a star performer in smaller room situations. I've had mine for over two years now and still rate them highly.

The dual concentric driver arrangement works very well and the imaging and soundstage from this little speaker is really very impressive.

Both awesome speakers but if you can go for the 2020i.

Simple really.

If you are able to use proper stands and give the speakers a little room to breath, then go for the 2020i.

If this is not the case, buy the smaller model.
