Q Acoustics 2010i and Mission MXS

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone can give me some sort of comparison between these two speakers? I've found plenty of good stuff about the 2010is, however there's not much at all about the Missions. Has anyone heard them or perhaps have them as part of a 5.1 system?

I'm wanting to use them in a small bedroom setup.

Also, with an amp like a Fiio A1 or Nuforce icon, would you get decent volume before things started to get distorted?

Herad the Q Acoustics on the end of a Marantz 603 at Richer Sounds. They sounded very clean and detailed with really good bass for their size. No idea about the Missions, although The Record Spot and Matthewpiano are the ones with Mission experience.

Is this in addition to your signature or in place of....

Thanks PP, this is in addition to my signature, it'll probably all be on a desk for now so the 2010s and Missions seemed like a good size.

I'd completely forgotten about something like the Marantz when I was looking at amps. The 603 is too expensive for this but something similar and cheaper would be good.

As far as amps are concerned, I'm now looking at; Cambridge DR30, Yamaha CRX-550 or maybe a B stock Marantz MCR-502. Given that I won't need the CD player I suppose the Cambridge would be the best way to go?

edit: The Cambridge DR30 looks like it might be hard to find actually, which leaves the Yamaha. Does anyone know what these are like? Also if im spending that much, how might it compare to the Nuforce Icon which is a similar price?
