What Amp on the market is the best partner for Q Acoustic 1050i speakers around the £300-400 mark. Preferable with a phono stage. I see the Nad C326BEE could be a contender even though it has no Phono Stage. I have an external one already so wouldnt be the end of the world.

NAD all the way. It is a perfect synergy and the C326BEE is a wonderfully musical and involving amplifier. A far better match for Q Acoustics than Cambridge Audio and a more complete sounding amp than the Marantz PM6003.

Given that Armour, who own Q Acoustics, are also the distributor for NAD, I wouldn't be at all surprised if NAD amps were used when developing and voicing the speaker range.

I hear that the Leema Pulse works rather nicely with this speaker too. £1200 admittedly, but good to know the 1050i is capable of partnering up with an amp of this standard.
