PSX fitted to Cyrus 2 what do i need to do?

Hi all this is my first post. Way back in 1988 i bought a cyrus 2 and a rega 3. All still going strong (new monitor Audio speakers).

I have just getting round to buying a PSX for my cyrus 2. So the question is, what do i have to do to couple the PSX to the cyrus 2. I have read so far you just take out a couple of fuses and you have to have both powerd up as the cyrus 2 powers the phono stage or is there more to it. I rang the shop i got the cyrus 2 from (yes they are still going) and they said you also have to bridge/invert certain pins! is this correct? any info would be a god send.Thanks in advance Steve.
